Substitute food for meal and a method for preparing thereof

Provided are a substitute meal for easily which exhibits excellent sensory property and storage, can be conveniently used in place of meal, and is useful for healthful food. The method comprises the steps of (a) roughly milling corn grains to obtain milled corn grains(2); (b) cleanly washing the vegetable leaves(3), dehydrating the leaves, and putting the milled corn grains on the dehydrated leaves and wrapping the grains(2) in the leaves(3); and steaming the wrapped, milled corn grains together with the leaves in steamer. The method further comprises a step of mixing at least one selected from the group consisting of salt, sugar, syrup, potato starch, and dried and milled mulberry leaves with the milled corn grains between the steps(a) and (b).
