PURPOSE: Opening and shutting mechanism of the skylight on a hothouse, and the hothouse are provided, thereby opening and shutting the skylight, and providing the hothouse cheaply. CONSTITUTION: Opening and closing mechanism of the skylight on a hothouse(8) comprises: a ridgepole(3); a left skylight window(1) in a left roof(7) of the ridgepole(3); and a right skylight window(2) in a right roof(7) of the ridgepole(3); an operating shaft(11) installed under the ridgepole(3) in parallel; a bracket(12) having left and right operation fixing pins(13), (14), (15), (16) attached to the operating shaft(11); and left and right arm rods(24)(27) having rod fixing pins(25),(26),(28),(29) which are connected to the left and right operation fixing pins(13), (14), (15), (16) using left and right operation links(18),(19),(21),(22), thereby connecting the left and right arm rods(24)(27) to a skylight window fixing pins(33)(34) of the left and right skylight windows(1)(2) and rotating the operating shaft(11).
