A device and a method for adjusting a texture quality adaptive to a bus bandwidth are provided to transfer graphic data adaptive to the remaining bus bandwidth and keep a constant level of a frame rate in a system sharing a data bus, as the texture quality is adjusted by using the used bus bandwidth, the remaining bus bandwidth, and the graphic data quantity required for each frame. An analyzer(140) monitors a bus transferring the graphic data, calculates the used bus bandwidth, calculates the remaining bus bandwidth by using the used bus bandwidth, and calculates the graphic data quantity required for processing graphics of a desired object. A quality determiner(150) compares the remaining bus bandwidth with the graphic data quantity and determines a texture quality level for currently used texture determination information according to a comparison result. A texture processor(135) textures the determined texture quality level. The quality determiner determines the texture quality level by using at least one of texture resolution, filter, bit, and compression level information included in the texture determination information.
