A system and a method for recognizing/authenticating face motion with an acceleration sensor are provided to enhance security/stability by performing the authentication operation in reflection of a user opinion through a two-axis acceleration sensor and reducing unnecessary authentication operations and errors due to automation of the authentication operation.
