A prediction model on the basis of a virtual river continuum is provided to accurately and simply design and execute a nature restoration work of a river by predicting preservation and appearance species according to the nature restoration of the river. A prediction model on the basis of a virtual river continuum includes the steps of: inputting data(S100), analyzing and operating the data(S200), and outputting result data(S300). The step(S100) of inputting data comprises inputting biological data(S110), inputting a dominance and hydrosphere information data(S140), and inputting environmental data(S150). The step(S200) of analyzing and operating the data comprises evaluating water properties of organisms(S210), analyzing recuperative power and resisting power(S220), operating a taxon property reaction function(S230), and analyzing a river urbanization index(S170). The step(S300) of outputting result data comprises outputting an organism evaluation index(S310), outputting a result of analyzing the diversity and the safety of an organism(S320), outputting the data of river properties(S340), and outputting the evaluation of health properties(S330).
