A method for preparing a detergent composition containing Epimedium Koreanum Nakai is provided to impart excellent cleaning capability and a coating effect to the detergent composition. A method for preparing a detergent composition containing Epimedium Koreanum Nakai includes the steps of: washing Epimedium Koreanum Nakai, jujube and Poria cocos and drying the materials in the shade; mixing the washed and dried Epimedium Koreanum Nakai, jujube and Poria cocos in a weight ratio of 30-50 wt% : 30-40 wt% : 20-30 wt%; introducing 1 kg of the mixed materials into 10-30 L of a diluted alcohol solution, sealing the resultant product and storing the sealed product in a cool space for at least three months to provide a liquid detergent; and filtering the mixed materials from the detergent solution to separate a liquid detergent.
