A tilting 5 pad journal bearing of a turbine generator for reducing shaft vibration and metal temperature is provided to form the range of the preload to 0.2 to 0.6, and to reduce the vibration by forming the preload in the tilting pad journal bearing and increasing the rigidity of an oil film and attenuation coefficient.
