Balancing shaft unit for balancing mass or torque of internal combustion engine, has housing part formed as single piece and bearing journals connected with balancing shaft, where journals have bearing areas supported in bearing openings
The unit (10) has a housing part (12) and a balancing shaft (14) with a balancing weight (24), where the housing part is formed as a single piece, and has two integrated bearing sections (16) with respective bearing openings (20). Recesses (26) are formed at longitudinal ends of the shaft, and respective bearing journals (30) are arranged in the recesses. The journals are tightly connected with the shaft, where the journals have cylindrical bearing areas (32), which are supported in the openings. The shaft and the balancing weight are formed as a single piece.
