METHOD FOR DEVELOPING A BILATERAL INTERNEURAL SHUNT BETWEEN CENTRAL ENDS OF INTERCOSTAL AND LUMBAR NERVES AT SPINAL CORD DISORDERS IN AN EXPERIMENT

FIELD: medicine, neurosurgery.;SUBSTANCE: at the level of thoracic vertebrae it is necessary to isolate an intercostals nerve, at the level of lumbar ones - a lumbar nerve to dissect their distal ends, as for central ends they should be brought together and sutured. Then intraoperationally one should cut spinal cord between the above-mentioned levels of vertebrae and after regeneration of sutured nerves it is necessary to observe the reconstruction of the functions of skin, muscles and inferior limbs.
