FIELD: medicine; cardiology.;SUBSTANCE: time of restoration of sine knot function is registered. Registration is performed at any step of electric stimulation at all frequencies with pitch of 10 pulses per minute. Frequency being 10 pulses per minute higher than spontaneous rhythm is taken as a start one. Frequency is taken as final one, which corresponds to beginning of second degree frequency-dependent atriventricular blockade. After the reserve of refractivity of sine-atrial area and summation index are calculated using original formulas. In case values of first factor are lower than 40 pulses per minute, sine-atrial blockade is diagnosed, and if second factor is higher than 80 pulses per minute, dysfunction of sinus knot is diagnosed. Method allows differentiating pathology of sine-atrial contact from malfunctions inside sine knot itself.;EFFECT: improved reliability; higher efficiency of diagnostics.;1 ex, 3 dwg
