FIELD: organic chemistry, pheromones.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a novel pharmacologically active compound of the novel dower-pheromone of sleeping state of the following structural formula (I): . Also, invention relates to a method for its isolation and purification and determination of structure of this substance that involves the following procedure: preparing ethanol extract by concentrating liquid medium in ethanol after culturing C. elegans in a liquid basal S-medium followed by additional of this ethanol fraction with ethyl acetate. Then impurities are removed from ethyl acetate extract by adsorption chromatography on silica gel, and pheromone extract is isolated and purified by chromatography procedures on column with amine-groups and using different solvents as eluents. Then the pheromone compound is isolated completely and characterized by exclusive HPLC.
