FIELD: construction, particularly door and window assemblies.;SUBSTANCE: elastic seal comprises base with fastening rib connected to low end thereof, head adjoining upper end of the rib and having upper surface transversal to rear base surface facing from fastening rib. The fastening rib has thickness gradually increasing from low end to upper end thereof. Head has sealing edge curved downwards in transversal section and having upper surface projected from upper surface of the head. Support rib extends downwards from head under sealing edge so that the support rib is inclined thereto. Lower surface of support rib passes into base surface facing the support rib and formed at top head end. Upper surface of the rib and low surface of sealing edge define depression.
