Clamping system (10) comprises a spreading element (20) having longitudinal cylindrical shells joined together on a free end using a connecting unit (25). The cylindrical shells move the free ends away from each other on radially pressing together the opposite open ends. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) Spreading cone for the clamping system; (2) Clamping bolt for the clamping system; (3) Holder for a clamping bolt for the clamping system; and (4) Method for mounting a clamping system.
