The device is linked to an actuator (4) for transferring a stroke to the actuator, and includes a stroke actuator provided with a base portion (2) at the axial end. A hydraulic compensation unit (3) is provided for adjusting the axial play between the actuator device and the actuator. The hydraulic compensation unit is fastened axially to the stroke actuator, such that the hydraulic compensation unit is pressed onto the base portion of the stroke actuator or such that the base portion is formed as part of the hydraulic compensation unit. An independent claim is included for the valve coupled to the actuator and actuator device.
