The robot grip assembly, especially to carry motor vehicle components, has a robot arm with a carrier (3) for a number of suction grips. A limit stop (18) is at the end of a shaft (17), with a sliding movement against the carrier in the gripping direction. A motor-powered clamp (21) fixes the grip in the required position by a counter movement after a given stroke. The clamp has at least one piston (45), operated by pressure, with a clamping body. The piston is fitted in a cylinder body (46), in a release mounting at the side of the guide body (15,40).
