The device has a transceiver (104) connected with a motor e.g. auto motor, and a wireless connection utilized between an operating unit (106) e.g. computer, and the transceiver. The operating unit sends a signal to the transceiver for controlling the motor. The operating unit has a code that is utilized by a user to control the operating unit and to setup a password. The user uses the operating unit to start the motor when the password is entered in the operating unit. An alarm device is triggered, when a wrong password is entered in the operating unit.
