The circuit has control circuits that are connected with each other, where an output signal (ZD) of a circuit arrangement (2) is used as a control variable for the control circuits. An absorbing device (11) absorbs an input signal (ZA) for the circuit arrangement over a predetermined period during a starting phase of the circuit arrangement, where the absorbing device has switchable resistors (24, 25) and a transistor. An independent claim is also included for a method of stable starting of a circuit arrangement.
