A central area (30) of a membrane system (20) curves towards a system (50) of magnets. A sensor microphone (40) picks up noise and fits in a volume between an ear and the curvature area of the membrane system. The central area of the system of magnets is designed as an inverse spherical cap. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) An active noise-compensating device with a modulator system; (2) A headset with a modulator system; (3) Earphones with a modulator system.
