The device has a valve needle, which consists of a valve closing body at its dispersing sided end. The valve closing body forms a sealing seat with a valve seat surface formed at a valve seat body (5). Several injection openings (7, 7b) are provided downstream of the valve seat surface and are differently oriented together. Two of the injection openings are oriented such that the injected fuel jets are in contact. The opening (7) is oriented such that an injected fuel jet (35) is not in mutual contact with the other jets.
