The tool holder for threading taps has a coolant jet (1) provided for then threading tap swarf groove (7). The jet has a nozzle mounted on the underside of the tool holder (3). The nozzle is connected via bores (4,5) with a central inner channel (6). Nozzle extends in the thread direction of the swarf groove of each tap (8). The tap has an alignment face (9) engaged by a grub screw (10).
