Claimed is a process and assembly to apply a legend or image (4-7) to an identity card (1) or chip card surface (2) made of plastic or paper. In the process a quantity of adhesive is applied to the plastic surface by a shooter dosing-valve, in the form of the legend or image, where it is allowed to cure and form optical illusion image.
