Individual electronic identification of identity cards - using input device contg. microprocessor, keyboard, and bus for programming chip cards for specific applications

The method for the individual electronic identification of identity cards enables an individually encoded pass (1) in the form of a chip card or smart card to have additional information coded in for a limited time using an input device (2) with a key band (7), pref. at least one microprocessor (9) and/or semiconducting chip and a bus. The individual code is entered via at least one microprocessor and/or chip into at least one permanent memory or at least one magnetic strip is additionally or exclusively programmed. USE/ADVANTAGE - For cards with microprocessors, chips and magnetic strips, method enables standard cards to be programmed for different applications.
