A separate cooling unit (10) is arranged in the stator for cooling the module, and comprises an inlet opening and an outlet opening. A coolant flows through the cooling unit for the formation of a module cooling circuit. An independent claim is also included for a method for cooling power electronics of a generator and electric motor combination.
