摘要

The method involves scanning a wheel (11) of a rail vehicle by multiple distance sensors of a linear distance sensor (15) in a contact-less manner during driving the rail vehicle. The contact-less scanning of the wheel is conducted by a contact-less distance measurement of the multiple distance sensors, where the multiple distance sensors are arranged along a straight line. The measured data of the distance sensors are transmitted to an evaluation unit.
