The drive has two-plus-two gear unit, are so arranged with a combustion engine and an electric engine that two wide stepped transmissions are available for the electric engine, and four narrow stepped transmissions are available for the combustion engine. The electrical engine (high charging condition) is used for the drive, depending on the battery charging condition. The electrical engine is used for starting the combustion engine with higher speed (middle charging condition), and for starting the combustion engine for the propulsion (low charging condition).
