The screwdriver has a drive arm (3) pivotable about an axle of an idler mechanism (2) and a driven element (5) associated with a driven section (4) of the axle and a screwdriver handle (7) opposite the driven section. The screwdriver handle is push connected to a drive section (6) of the axle. The drive arm hinges about an axle from an operating position transverse to the axle and a storage position essentially parallel to the axle.
