A coupling lever is rotatably mounted on a plate fixed to the frame of a two or more wheeled vehicle. A rotatable gear shift is mounted on the coupling lever. This gear shift changes the position of the motor (18) w.r.t. the drive wheel (19) via a cable wire rope. A spring-loaded part of the motor holder (17) is decoupled by a change in position of the coupling lever. This allows the motor position to be changed by the force required to drive the vehicle. ADVANTAGE - Simple, cheap and allows the motor to run at its optimal speed.
