The device has an interlocked brake disk (1) contacting with a drive shaft (10) of a gear wheel dynamo (11) for generating power e.g. electrical power. The gear wheel dynamo is mounted on a tiltable dynamo rocker (8) at a brake caliper (5). The disk is in connection with a fixed brake caliper, and the caliper has a brake cylinder. The cylinder operates on the disk for retaining a gear wheel dynamo outside an impeller.
