The design provides means to eliminate disadvantages inherent to fixed solar panel systems and the horizontal axis wind turbines. The vertical axis design of HEH combines solar panel energy harvesting and wind turbine energy harvesting together by using solar panels themselves as the propeller of the wind energy harvester. HEH consists of PV solar panels mounted pitched on a vertical pole to catch wind. The solar panels acting as blades of a wind turbine, facilitate the rotation of the pole mounted on a bearing and a dynamo. Conducting of the solar power generated by the solar panels is facilitated through a slip ring. The dynamo will generate wind power.
