Test system comprises at least one cell that expresses the human Thy-1 (CD90). Independent claims are included for: (1) a procedure for the determination of the effectiveness of biologics and systemic therapies in psoriasis comprising: determining cell-to-cell interaction of chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells, which are transfected with human Thy-1 (CD90), with the granulocytes of the patient with biological or systemic therapy; determining the cell-to-cell interaction of CHO cells, which are transfected with human Thy-1 (CD90), with control cells; comparing the cell-to-cell interactions, where a decreased cell-to-cell interaction of CHO cells is an indication for the anti-inflammatory effect of the biologic or the systemic therapy and a non-decreased cell-to-cell interaction of CHO cells, is an indication for the therapy failure of the biologic or the systemic therapy; and (2) a procedure for the identification of substances with anti-inflammatory or anti-metastatic effect comprising: determining the cell-to-cell interaction of cells that express human Thy-1 (CD90) at their surface, with cells that express a Thy-1 (CD90)-ligand at the surface, in the presence and absence of the test substance; and comparing the cell-to-cell interactions, where the cell-to-cell interaction is decreased in presence of the test substance, which is an indication for the anti-inflammatory or anti- metastatic effect of the test substance.
