The cartridge (10) has a cover (16), and a number of spacer units (14) provided between two printing plates that are received in the cartridge and are held at a distance to each other by the spacer units. The cover and the spacer units are coupled in such a manner that the spacer units are placed together with the cover in positions when opening the cartridge. The received printing plates are individually taken in the positions.
