The cushion (1) is of a rectangular shape and has an oval cross section. It is made of or filled with a block of foam rubber of a high density. For use the patient lies down on the back and the cushion (1) is inserted vertically at the back of the knees, lifting thighs (4) and lower legs (5) from the mat (2) or the floor. The cushion (1) can be provided with two curved recesses at the top for a more convenient use. It can be slightly tilted in either direction in order to create a stretching effect.
