The unit has two operating components (8-14), where the form of the operating unit is changed by operating one of the operating components and then a control signal is produced. The operating components are formed by a tactile/actuating unit (16). The operating unit exhibits cladding units (5-7), and the operating components are arranged at an inner side of the cladding units. The cladding units are designed as a rotary unit (15), where the operating components fill the internal space of the rotary unit. The operating components are functioning independently.
