Preparation of a soy milk or a drink based on soy, comprises (a) soaking the soy beans; (b) grinding the soybeans to a puree; (c) separating the soy puree into soy milk and okara in a centrifugal field; (d) implementing the steps (a) and (b) and preferably (c) at 0-40[deg]C, which is suitable for the extraction of native proteins; and (e) deodorizing the soy milk, in order to reduce the bean flavor.
