The ball bearing has an inner race (2) and a co-axially located outer race (1), between which are installed balls (6) guided by means of a cage (3) consisting of a composite material which contains epoxy resin and fibers. The epoxy resin can withstand temperatures greater than 130 degrees, and even greater than 134 degrees, and/or withstand pressures of around or over 1 bar, and/or the epoxy resin is moisture resistant, especially in saturated vapour atmospheres.
