The tap (1) has a coloring device (3) for coloring fluids (4-6) dispensed by the tap, where the coloring device is arranged in or at a tap pipe (8), and has a color source designed as a colored light source (17). The light source emits light in a flow direction of the fluid, and the coloring device has a measuring device (23) for measuring characteristics of the fluid. The measuring device has a sensor (24) for detecting condition of the fluid, and is arranged in or at the tap pipe. The coloring device signals the characteristics of the fluid by coloring the fluid.
