The tool has a shank part (2), on which a cutting head (4) with a poly-crystalline adamantine-insert (5) is formed. Another shank part (3) having a smaller diameter sits in an inner taper in the shank part (2), where another cutting head (14) is formed on the shank part (3). The cutting head (14) varies the cutting diameter of the cutting head (4). The cutting head (14) is formed such that the adjustment of the cutting head (14) is enabled at an end of the shank part (2) opposite to the cutting head (4).
