The device (1) has a lifting rail (20) and two sliding elements (10) guided on the rail and joined by a lifting arm (2,3) associated with the sliding element. The lifting rail has a profile (21) extending along the entire lower edge of the window pane that interacts with the respective sliding element. The profile encloses the rail from below in a shape-locking manner so that the window pane can be fixed to the rail from above without hindrance. An independent claim is also included for a door module carrier.
