The protection unit has a top layer (10) on a side of a core structure, where a layer (3) from an insulation coating form is provided within the core structure or between the top layer and the core structure. A flexible material that is provided with an open cavity is provided on a side of the layer. Outer plates of the protection unit consist of gypsum fiberboard (1, 1`). The core structure comprises an insulating layer (2) from mineral wool or fibrous insulating material. An air gap is formed within the core structure, and the layer (3) is arranged at the air gap.
