The brake has a induction coil (4) inserted in a brake disk (3) or a brake caliper (1), where the coil is excited by induction for heating the brake. The induction coil is energized by a sliding contact, where the temperature of the induction coil is controllable in an automatic manner. The heat is conducted to the brake by hot air of an engine of a vehicle or by the hot air produced by a hot air blow drier.
