The radiator has one tube wall (1) flow-washed by heating medium before the subsequent tube walls (2), and the tube wall which is flow-washed first is preferably arranged on the side facing the room. A device in the distributing and collecting tube (3) causes one heating wall to be flow-washed first and divides the distributing and collecting tube into two zones. This division is arranged in the longitudinal direction of the distributing and collecting tube and is effected by a partition (5).
