The motor has a rotor (201), permanent magnets (202, 203) placed side by side on the rotor surface, and a stator (210). The stator has slots ((E1-E6), (E8-E13), (E15-E20)), receiving conducting windings (-1, +1, -2, +2, -3, +3) of a symmetrical single layer three-phased winding. Three slots (E7, E14, E21) are provided with either single layer winding or a complementary two-layered winding (-1, +3; +1, -2; -3, +2). Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a winding method for stator of synchronous motor (B) an electrical power steering of a motor vehicle comprising a synchronous motor.
