The device has a section (20) i.e. a hollow cylinder, whose axis (XX) is perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of a longitudinal fabric. The section is movable in rotation around its axis to adjust the length of the fabric, and is integrated to a free end of the fabric. Shells (21, 22) are placed at the ends of the section to maintain another free end of the fabric with the former end after the adjustment of the length. An independent claim is also included for a kit comprising a longitudinal fabric.
