The garment has a maintaining rope (3) made of stainless steel and possessing different lengths, where the garment is made of chain mail fabric. The maintaining rope passes inside two metallic rings (2) of the chain mail fabric in a predefined zone so as to limit an extension of the chain mail fabric to a level and to adjust the garment to a body of a user. The rope has ends inserted in a plastic patch (6) that is fixed to the chain mail fabric. The maintaining rope is threaded in the rings at the level of a belt of the user.
