Method for connecting strip segments of flocked material to a larger unit, preferably strip segments, comprises: overlapping ends of each pair on top of each other to connect strip segments (1,1') and simultaneously cutting the same by means of a cutting edge knife to form supplementary edges (4) on each other; joining the impact edges of the two strip segments; and fixing the two strip segments of flocked material among themselves by applying an adhesive strip (5) of paper or the like on its top that holds the strip segments in closely connected form. Method for connecting strip segments of flocked material to a larger unit, preferably strip segments, which are intended on roll or a coil with considerable length, comprises: overlapping ends of each pair on top of each other to connect strip segments (1,1') and simultaneous cutting the same by means of a cutting edge knife to form supplementary edges (4) on each other; joining the impact edges of the two strip segments, where the edges with their impact edges are directly adjacent to each other; and fixing the two strip segments of flocked material among themselves by applying an adhesive strip (5) of paper or the like on its top that holds the strip segments in closely connected form, where the adhesive strip is a material, which is a chromatic in contrast with strip segments of flocked material, which is directly- and simply visible for a worker and/or is able to recognize the color of the adhesive strip for a sensor.
