The device has a motor vehicle`s battery (14) generating a supply voltage (Vb) for an electronic case (12). An activation/deactivation unit (18) activates/deactivates a charging pump (16) based on a low/high overshoot by the supply voltage from a critical threshold for filling a shortage in the supply voltage. The activation period of the pump has a duration adjusted with a period during which the supply voltage is lesser than the critical threshold. A regulating unit (24) regulates the output voltage of the pump so as to provide a constant regulated voltage supplying the case. An independent claim is also included for a method for supplying a voltage to an electrical case.
