The method involves charging a laser diodes bar (2`) by an electrical current according to a rate during a time and by another electrical current after the charging time of the former electrical current. The former current is equal to zero or to the threshold current of laser emission of the diodes. The latter current is equal to a nominal charging current of the diodes. Rise-fall or fall-rise edges presented as a function of time between the currents are controlled. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an assembly of continuous diodes (2) an impulsive laser equipped with a continuous diodes assembly.
