The cycle has a steering system (5) provided for modifying the orientation of a front wheel (2) of the cycle. The steering system is connected to a fork (26) by a cardan joint type articulation (25) comprising the fork. The fork of the articulation is welded to a hexagonal screw. The cycle permits a driver to pedal the cycle in a seated position. A seat (6) and a pedal assembly are disposed in a manner such that, during pedaling, the driver adopts the seated position in which a head`s axis and a trunk`s axis form an angle comprised between 10 and 30 degrees.
