The device has a display screen (5) integrated to a movable support (15) that is equipped with a steering rack (18) comprising a drive pinion (19). The support is guided vertically for ensuring top or bottom displacement in a transversal slit of a fascia of a vehicle. The screen has a lateral edge (13) carried by a vertical rod (10) mounted opposite to the support. The rod has a crown wheel (23) disposed in a horizontal plane. The rod co-operates with another drive pinion (24) for moving the screen from one position to another position in a vertical plane.
