The interface (1) has control switches (11-16) and a display device (3) rotatably mounted on a support. A controlling circuit presents different operating modes activated in respective positions of the display device with respect to the support, attributes different functions e.g. ventilation power increasing/decreasing function, to the control switches in different operating modes, and controls the displaying of the function of each switch in display zones (21-26) based on the operation of the switches in each operation mode.
